The weather didn't exactly cooperate down here in the Keys today. Our friends, the Moffitts, drove down from Cocoa to meet us so that the boys could all go scuba diving. They drove through an insanely heavy downpour and dodged tornadoes to get here. Since it was too choppy on the water, Key Dives canceled snorkeling for the day so while the boys ventured off to go SCUBA diving all of us girls went to a low budget sea world kind of place called Theater of the Sea. 
It was pretty cute. They had parrot, 
dolphin 
and sea lion shows, 
plus a guided wild life tour. MK got to pet a nurse shark (here she after the fact): 
and we had lunch at an overpriced snack bar. The Moffitt girls plus their friend, Alyssa, paid a little extra and got to "meet the dolphins". We spent about 2 1/2 hours there and then came back to the hotel where the girls played in the heated pool. The boys finally dragged themselves back from the SCUBA adventure looking very green around the gills. As it turned out they all got sea sick. Mikey was hit especially hard :( They were out on the water for almost 3 hours and never got to dive! Steve and Nick managed about a half hour, but Dad and Mike were just not feeling well enough. Not fun!! After they changed we all went out to dinner at a place called The Hungry Tarpon. I had the best Key Lime Pie ever for dessert.
