Spirit Week

Monday: 80s day
Tuesday: Professional day
Wednesday: Ninja (for Mike)/Cowboy (for MK) day
Thursday: Jersey day
Friday: Class t-shirt day

So the question is....how to incorporate our latest Unique find into spirit week? He ended up going as a Professional American. That works, right?
He was only slightly obsessed with this jacket. The minute he laid eyes on it, he knew he had to have it, despite the fact that it stunk to high heaven. It took a bottle of fabric frebeeze, a container of leather wipes, a box of baking soda and a dozen dryer sheets to get the stench out.

In other news, MK lost her election. It was sad because her BFF, Olivia, got in and they really wanted to do it together. Oh well--there is always next year. Meanwhile I took MK homecoming dress shopping on Saturday. It was so out of character for her. Usually the only stores she will go in are Lady Footlocker and Brookstone. 15 minutes in Macy's and the deed was done. The transformation from Tom-boy to young lady will transpire on Saturday.
